Can a non-Italian speaker pass the Italian Drivers Test?

Foglio Rosa vs. the Patente B. What is the difference?
The "Foglio Rosa" is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued after passing the theory test. Within this period, you must complete at least 6 hours of driving lessons with an instructor and pass the practical driving exam. You can also take the practical exam at least one month after receiving your Foglio Rosa.
Patente B is the standard driving license for most passenger cars, & is equivalent to a standard car license in many other countries. It allows you to drive vehicles up to an authorized mass of 3,500 kg, including those that can carry up to nine people, and also permits you to operate certain light motorcycles. To obtain a Patente B, you must pass both a written AND a practical driving test.
What is required to take the Patente B exam?
To take the Italian driver's license written test, you need to submit an application with documents like a valid ID, Permesso di Soggiorno (if applicable), Codice Fiscale, Medical Certificate, Passport-sized photos, and proof of payment of required fees.

Probation? What that means once you have your Italian Drivers License
Neopatentati , or new drivers, have specific probationary rules for the first three years, as follows: 1) Main Suburban Roads: 90 km/h, 2) Autostrada: 100 km/h, 3) Zero-tolerance alcohol limit, 4)Double penalty for points deducted for infractions.
Additionally, there are vehicle power limitations: for the 1st year, a maximum power-to-weight ratio of 75 kW/t, and a maximum vehicle power of 105 kW.
